In the occasionally hot and sunny summer of 2008 I paced the garden, drank an impressive amount of tea and did quite a bit of writing.
The result was a spoof of The Dangerous Book for Boys aimed at the 60+, snappily titled The Deranged Book for Old-Timers (Summersdale). It emerged, blinking and confused, in September 2008.
